Fertility Amh Levels By Age Chart

Fertility is a hot topic for women of all ages. As we approach our late 30s and early 40s, it seems like every other day a new study comes out touting the benefits of being proactive about our fertility. But what about younger women? How do our fertility levels change as we get older?

To answer this question, let’s take a look at the fertility hormone amh, or anti-mullerian hormone. Amh is produced by the cells in our ovaries, and it’s a good indicator of our ovarian reserve, or the amount of eggs we have left.

The following chart shows the average amh levels by age:

Age Average Amh Level

20-24 2.5

25-29 2.2

30-34 1.8

35-39 1.5

40-44 1.1

As you can see, our average amh levels decline as we get older. This is because our ovarian reserve declines as we age, and we lose eggs at a faster rate.

So what does this mean for your fertility?

If you’re trying to conceive, it’s important to keep your amh levels in mind. If your amh level is below average for your age, your chances of getting pregnant may be lower.

Adenomyosis And Fertility

Adenomyosis is a condition in which the tissue that lines the uterus (endometrium) grows into the muscular wall of the uterus. It is a common condition that affects about 1 in 10 women of reproductive age. Adenomyosis can cause infertility by affecting the ability of the uterus to hold a pregnancy.

Adenomyosis is diagnosed with a pelvic ultrasound. Treatment for adenomyosis depends on the severity of the symptoms. Treatment options include medications, surgery, or a combination of both. For women who are trying to conceive, surgery may be the best option to improve fertility.

If you are experiencing symptoms of adenomyosis and are having difficulty conceiving, talk to your doctor. He or she can help you determine the best treatment option for you.
