What fertility?
There is a lot of confusion about fertility and breastfeeding. I am often asked by patients whether they can “breastfeed and get pregnant at the same time.” The answer to this question is, of course, “it depends.” Fertility and breastfeeding are both highly individualized processes that are influenced by a variety of factors.
One of the most important factors affecting fertility is the amount of time that has passed since the last menstruation. For most women, fertility begins to decline after about age 35. This decline in fertility is due, in part, to the natural aging process and, in part, to the decrease in the quantity and quality of eggs as a woman ages.
Another factor that affects fertility is breastfeeding. It is well-known that breastfeeding delays the return of menstruation and, as a result, delays the return to fertility. The length of time that breastfeeding delays fertility varies from woman to woman and depends on a variety of factors, including the intensity and frequency of breastfeeding, as well as the woman’s age and health. Generally, breastfeeding delays return to fertility by about three months.
So, can women breastfeed and get pregnant at the same time?
The answer to this question is, again, “it depends.” If a woman is highly fertile and her last menstruation was less than three months ago, then she may be able to get pregnant while breastfeeding. If a woman is less fertile or her last menstruation was more than three months ago, then she is less likely to get pregnant while breastfeeding.
Bottom line: Fertility and breastfeeding are both highly individualized processes that are influenced by a variety of factors. For most women, fertility begins to decline after about age 35 and breastfeeding delays the return of menstruation and, as a result, the return to fertility. The length of time that breastfeeding delays fertility varies from woman to woman and depends on a variety of factors.

Fertility Men Eye Freezing Sperm
as Insurance Against Age
For many years, fertility clinics have offered sperm freezing as a way for men to preserve their ability to father children. But a new study suggests that sperm freezing may have another benefit: it could help men to have children later in life.
The study, which was conducted by researchers at the University of Copenhagen, looked at the sperm of 155 men who were between the ages of 18 and 37. The men were asked to provide semen samples twice: once when they were at their youngest and once when they were at their oldest. The researchers then analyzed the sperm to see how it changed over time.
They found that the sperm of the men who were older when they provided their samples had a higher percentage of healthy cells. They also found that the sperm of the men who were older when they provided their samples had a higher percentage of motile cells. Motile cells are cells that are able to move around, and they are important for fertility.
The researchers concluded that sperm freezing could help to preserve the fertility of men as they get older. They also suggested that sperm freezing could be a good option for men who are considering fathering children later in life.
There are many reasons why men may want to father children later in life. Some men may want to wait until they have more stability in their lives. Others may want to wait until their children are older so that they can be more involved in their lives.
Sperm freezing can be a good option for men who want to father children later in life because it can help to preserve their fertility. Sperm freezing is a relatively simple procedure that involves freezing sperm in a lab. The sperm can then be stored for a number of years.
If a man decides that he wants to father children later in life, he can use the sperm that he has frozen to impregnate a woman. Sperm freezing is also a good option for men who are facing infertility due to age-related factors.
Sperm freezing is a safe and effective way to preserve fertility, and it can be a good option for men who are considering fathering children later in life.

Hsg Fertility Procedure
IVF, or in vitro fertilization, is a process by which eggs are removed from a woman’s ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a laboratory. The fertilized eggs, or embryos, are then transferred back into the woman’s uterus to attempt to establish a pregnancy. IVF is used to treat infertility in women and is also used for couples who are using donor sperm or eggs.
The IVF procedure begins with the woman taking medication to stimulate her ovaries to produce multiple eggs. Once the eggs are mature, they are retrieved from the ovaries using a needle inserted through the vagina. The sperm is then added to the eggs in the laboratory and the embryos are allowed to develop for 3-5 days. The best embryos are then transferred back into the woman’s uterus using a catheter.
The success rate of IVF depends on a number of factors, including the age of the woman and the cause of infertility. The average success rate for women under the age of 35 is around 40%. The success rate drops significantly for women over the age of 40.
