During Pregnancy First Trimester Brown Discharge
The discharge that is experienced during the first trimester of pregnancy is typically brown in color. This type of discharge is not considered to be a cause for concern and is generally just a result of the changes that are taking place in the body as it prepares for the arrival of a baby.
Some of the common causes of brown discharge during the first trimester of pregnancy include implantation bleeding, increased estrogen levels, and changes in the cervical mucus. Implantation bleeding occurs when the embryo attaches to the uterine wall, and can cause light spotting or brown discharge.
The increase in estrogen levels during pregnancy can also lead to changes in the color and consistency of the discharge. And the changes in the cervical mucus can cause it to become thicker and more brown in color.
In most cases, brown discharge during the first trimester is nothing to worry about. However, if it is accompanied by other symptoms such as cramps, fever, or pain, then it is best to consult with a healthcare provider.
Discharge Smells Fishy During Pregnancy
There are many different types of smells that can be associated with pregnancy, and one of the more unusual ones is a fishy smell coming from the discharge. This is definitely not a normal smell and is something that should be brought to the attention of a healthcare professional.
There are a few different things that could be causing this smell, but the most common one is a bacterial infection called trichomoniasis. This is a very common infection, and is caused by a tiny parasite that is passed through sexual contact. It can cause a fishy smell, as well as a greenish-yellow discharge, itching, and burning.
Other causes of a fishy smell during pregnancy can include a vaginal yeast infection, sexually transmitted infections, and a problem with the liver or kidneys. If you are experiencing a fishy smell along with any other symptoms, it is important to see a doctor right away.

Dog Pregnancy White Discharge
If you are a dog owner, you may have noticed your dog having a white discharge coming from her vagina. This is completely normal and is simply the dog’s way of flushing out the vagina and keeping it clean. During pregnancy, the discharge will become thicker and may have a pink or reddish tinge to it, but it is still normal. If your dog experiences any other symptoms, such as bleeding, swelling, or excessive licking of the genital area, she should be seen by a veterinarian.
