Overview of Bladder Pressure During Pregnancy
When you are pregnant, you may experience a feeling of pressure or discomfort in your bladder before and during your urination. This is called bladder pressure and can vary from mild to intense. It can be caused by the normal changes in your body during pregnancy, including the increased size of your uterus pushing on your bladder, or it can be caused by a urinary tract infection (UTI). Bladder pressure is usually not harmful to the mother or baby, but it can be a sign of a more serious condition, so seek medical advice if the pressure persists.
